At Gill-Hudson Homes, treating our customers well lies at the heart of everything we do, proven by the attention that they receive at every stage of the home-building process. Unlike larger firms – and even smaller ones – clients are dealing directly with our Directors from day one, with no responsibilities being farmed out to junior staff or contractors and accountability remaining exactly where it belongs: at the top.
Our directors David Gill and Stephen Hudson are always available to discuss any aspect of the job in hand. They are happy to take scheduled meetings at our offices or to deal with any queries or issues that spontaneously arise, as well being available to meet clients onsite whenever the need exists. If our customers want to discuss anything with us – anything at all – they will receive top level advice.
This ethos informs every other part of our business. We are aware that building any home is a complex process, and not one that can ever be taken lightly, whether constructing a luxury apartment or a mixed housing development. This is why from the first day we ensure clients receive the reliable and comprehensive information necessary for them to make properly informed purchases. This attention to detail continues throughout the reservation process, checking that everything is correctly in place before the project commences – not least of all checking thoroughly that our architects’ plans have been perfectly prepared and fully approved by the relevant authorities.
Our Directors also take a personal hand in the all-important construction process, taking time to oversee the clearing of the site, the laying of foundations and the establishment of connections for services such as water, sewerage, gas and electricity, plus giving advice and support to our building experts during the rest of the project. They make sure that customers are being served with the most effective building methods and latest technologies. Gill-Hudson Homes believes in buildings which best suit the local environment and have the minimal negative impact on that environment.
Once construction is nearly complete, all homes are checked carefully for any snagging problems. A thorough inspection from top to bottom will make sure that all properties are completed to the highest standards and are ready to move into. All of this is based upon the belief that ultimately properties are for people and families – we want those people to enjoy many happy years living in their homes.
